The project involves designing a custom shelving unit aimed at optimizing the space in the living area of a small apartment. The shelves, set at varying heights and oriented in two different directions, create an L-shaped configuration that clearly defines the living area while separating it from the kitchen.

The upper shelves serve as surfaces for objects and books, while the lower ones can function as seating or additional surfaces. To enhance functionality, modular cubed wooden units have been incorporated. These mobile modules can be repositioned to serve as extra seating, coffee tables, or storage spaces.

When not in use, these modules can be neatly stored beneath the shelving unit, seamlessly completing the overall design.
